Rum lha do Pessegueiro

First Rum from Mainland Portugal, produced in the Black Pig distillery.

A Spiced Rum, with no added Sugar, using exclusively natural Peach fructose.

This Rum is distilled from sugar cane molasses, and has botanicals harvested and selected by us, having an infusion of vanilla, tobacco leaf, coffee beans and Alentejo peach.

Pessegueiro Island, a mystical place of legends, stories of pirates and corsairs, immortalized through the interpretation of Rui Veloso, serves as inspiration for this rum. An intense Rum, influenced by the spices obtained in the old trade routes, by the Portuguese navigators who explored the coast of Africa and remote parts of Asia and also in the characteristic botanicals of the Alentejo.

With this Rum a classic drink is reinvented, through identitary aromas of the Portuguese maritime history with a contemporary character of the Alentejo. An incomparable Rum, for unforgettable moments, that brings back the memory of the Alentejo.
