Description
Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, the origins of this wine go back to the 15th century, but its name was given in 1762 by François de Péguilhan, Marquis de Terme. Since 1855, Marquis de Terme has been a Grand Cru Classé.
Situated on a central plateau, its 40 hectares of gravel, typical of Margaux, are planted with noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, which have made the international reputation of Médoc wines.
When one evokes Margaux and its terroir, the first words that come to mind are elegance, finesse and delicacy. Moreover, the appellation has the largest number of Grands Crus Classés of which Château Marquis de Terme is one.

Tasting
To the Eye: A Beautiful brilliant color, dark garnet, with purple reflections.
On the Nose: still discreet by its youth, aromas of black fruits, cassis, roasting, completed by notes of spices with a floral touch.
In the Mouth : full and round, a beautiful flexibility with a creamy and full mid-palate, with flavors of black berries, soft and suave tannins, a beautiful minerality, warm notes of spices and cloves complete the flavor. finish.A very nice length with good persistence. A balanced wine in the making and a great success in a more complex vintage.
To decant in its youth, the first 10 years ...
