Description
At 20 km north of Montpellier, at the edge of Gard and Hérault, the Pic Saint Loup is the most northern of Languedoc and one of the most prestigious. The Pic Saint Loup (658 m) and the Causse de l'Hortus (512 m) dominate a relief whose altitudes are around 150 meters.
The wines of the Pic Saint Loup have a very marked identity. Soils, of clay-limestone origin from scree, and a micro climate contribute to the specificity of our wines. The vineyard is subject to Mediterranean and continental influences; thermal amplitudes are important, especially in summer when days are hot and nights are cool.
Tasting
Appearance: A beautiful intense Violine dress.
Aroma: A well ripe aromatic palette that is expressed on notes of black fruits and cocoa. A beautiful maturity, the fruit with a notion of garrigue and laurel that bring complexity.
Palate: Dense with a nice volume of mouth.
