Description

The “Champ du Coq” (“Cockerel’s Field”) is the name for a plot of land called “Camp de Gals” in Languedoc because of the many pheasants found there. This bold wine modernises the Estate’s wine selection, to be appealing to young and old alike.

Tasting

Appearance : sustained ruby red with purple tints.

Aroma : complex on the nose with black fruits, blackcurrant, cocoa and spices. Fleshy and full mouth aromas with notes of scrubland herbs (tapenade).

Palate : beautifully balanced , full and harmonious, refreshing and long on the fruit.

Serving :  Perfect with family-style dishes for convivial eating like couscous, a nice big piece of red meat or a spicy lamb stew.
