Description
With its bright and attractive colours, the Papa Figos is one of the rarest birds in the Douro. The female, dressed in green tones, is the perfect image to represent this unique wine.
It is a wine that is both elegant and dynamic, classic and modern, which faithfully reflects the values of Casa Ferreirinha, the brand with the longest tradition in the production of high quality Douro wines and one of the greatest references in the region.
Tasting
Appearance : Red has a deep ruby colour with violet nuances.
Aroma : dominated by floral notes of violet and rock rose, balsamic aromas of resin and cedar and well ripened red and black fruit.
Palate : it has good volume, well-integrated acidity, high-quality tannins and black and red fruit notes. Its finish is elegant and harmonious.
Service : It should be served at betweeen 16ºC-18ºC.
Food Pairings : Papa Figos is a great food wine, an ideal partner for all kinds of poultry and meat, charcuterie and cheeses.
