Description

Like the vines, the olive trees enjoy unique conditions at the Quinta de Ventozelo. These olive trees take advantage of this terroir to produce an exceptional olive oil, as smooth and sweet as all the fruits of the Douro.

On the hundred-year-old olive trees, planted alongside the vines, the olives are harvested with a manual comb as tradition dictates. The extracted olive oil concentrates the history, traditions and flavours of the Douro.

Tasting

Fruity, mature, with a very balanced spiciness and bitterness and an excellent finish in the mouth. The elegance and complexity of this olive oil offer a unique experience.

How best to enjoy is as an aperitif with bread, or as an accompaniment with salads, fish or even meat dishes, adding a creamy consistency and unmistakable aromatic tang.
