Ten generations of Alary have succeeded each other at the Oratoire Saint Martin estate since its creation by Paul Alary in 1692! 300 years of transmission, and as much accumulation of a precious knowledge. Since 1984, the brothers Frédéric and François Alary have taken up the torch and considerably improved their estate. In the absence of an eleventh generation to continue their work, they sold the estate in 2020 to a great family of Châteauneuf-du-Pape: the Abeille-Fabre, owners of the illustrious Château Mont-Redon.

The strength of the estate is that it has a high percentage of old vines (over 40 years old), some of which are a hundred years old.

For the reds, the vineyard is mainly composed of black grenache (approx. 60%), mourvèdre (the favorite grape of the domain 30%), syrah (10%) and old grape varieties such as counoise, vaccarèse or muscardin.for the whites they are mainly marsanne, roussanne, clairette and white grenache.

They produce 80% of red, and 20% of white.
